My teaching philosophy

Hi, my name is Leia Kay. I am an experienced mathematics tutor, with over three years of experience. I provide maths tuition for students in grades 7 - 12. I provide significant support for my students and I get results. I am proud to have helped students who were struggling to pass finally succeed in Mathematics. My students develop a positive and resilient attitude towards mathematics. I am a training secondary maths teacher at QUT and a recipient of the Queensland Government Aspiring Teacher Award. I am proud to have helped students' improve their confidence and abilities in maths - both inside and outside of the classroom.
